It certainly isn’t. But just like you said some time ago, AUs are the way to go. Or at least fics that are just canon up to a certain point. At least then you can ignore the awfulness of canon.
Definitely. I mean, I tend to ignore everything that happened after “Brittany/Britney.” The only time I went beyond that point was when I wrote Take This Longing, which took season 3 into account.
But most of what I write is AU anyway, so it doesn’t really matter. :P
Ryan Murphy is just a disrespectful asshole who treats anyone who is apart of glees gay fandom like shit. (sorry for my rant just felt like I needed to say this)
Well, it seems he’s not particularly fond of the lesbian portion of Glee’s fandom. But I’m not really sure what this jab at Quinn/Dianna has to do with Glee’s gay fandom. Or were you just making a general comment?
Wait what did Ryan say about Dianna/Quinn on his other show?

As an outsider I would tell Ryan to grow the fuck up! But if I were part of the glee cast I guess I’d be hurt to some degree. If the glee cast is/was like family Ryan behaves like the evil stepmother

I’m sure they hate it but act like they don’t I don’t get why anyone would want to work with him or ever confide anything to him
I mean, it’s possible that it’s actually all in good fun - like Dianna is in on the joke and she doesn’t take any offense (I doubt it, but then again, I don’t actually know these people).
But even if there is some mean-spirited immaturity at the root of the jab, I think the cast is professional enough to keep their head held high, even if it doesn’t feel so good. They’re also savvy enough to throw a little shade.
Guess we’ll see how Ryan’s future projects pan out, but beggars can’t be choosers. Actors need to work, and as long as his projects get greenlit, there are plenty of people who will put up with this.
